2022FW THEME Mon petit jardin” / 私の小さな庭

初めて自分だけの庭を持った時（それは１５年も前アトリエの前の小さな花壇でしたが）嬉しくて、花の苗や種を夢中で植えました。

久しぶりに土を触る時間はなんとも言えない幸福な時間で、土に触れていると次第に虫など小さな生き物の存在に気づくようになりました。

そしてもっと自然を感じる生活をしたくなり、今の場所に移り住みました。

山の近くの庭で土を触っていると、見たこともない虫や動物に遭遇し、私が隠れたり逃げまわったり…

今までとは比べ物にならないくらいの生き物の多さに、自分が後からきたよそ者なのだなと感じます。

それは心地よい実感で、この庭は私の物でも何でもないんだと思ったのです。

後から来た者として小さくなりつつもいつか輪に加われたらなと思います。

秋冬の庭仕舞いをしながら、あの夢中で作った小さな庭を思い出し、新しいインスピレーションのきっかけとなりました。

Lorsque j’ai eu mon propre jardin pour la première fois il y a 15 ans devant mon atelier, plutôt un petit parterre de fleurs qu’un vrai jardin, j’étais tellement contente que j’ai passé beaucoup de temps à planter des semis et des graines.

C’était très important pour moi d’être en contact avec la terre et cela m’avait manqué.

C’était un vrai bonheur de retrouver des moments de jardinage; et quand je m’occupais de la terre j’ai commencé à apercevoir des petits insectes.

Ensuite j’ai eu envie d’être encore plus près de la nature et nous avons alors décidé de nous installer où nous vivons actuellement.

Ici dans notre jardin près des montagnes, je rencontre des insectes et des animaux que je n’ai jamais vus avant et paradoxalement c’est moi qui me cache ou qui ai peur d’eux

J’ai été surprise de croiser autant de créatures et ces rencontres me font réaliser que c’est moi l’étrangère sur leur territoire.

Cette sensation était plutôt agréable pour moi et je me suis rendu compte que mon jardin n’appartient à personne en fait.

Je suis une nouvelle étrangère, mais j’espère que je ne les dérange pas trop et qu’un jour j’intégrerai leur bande.

Au moment de ranger mon jardin à la fin de l’hiver, je me suis rappelé de notre petit “jardin” de l’époque et cela m’a inspiré pour la nouvelle collection.

When I first had my own garden 15 years ago in front of my studio, more of a small flower bed than a real garden, I was so happy that I spent a lot of time planting seedlings and seeds.
It was very important for me to be in contact with the earth and I had missed it.
It was a real pleasure to find moments of gardening again; and when I was tending to the earth I began to see small insects.

Then I wanted to be even closer to nature and so we decided to settle where we currently live.
Here in our garden near the mountains, I meet insects and animals that I have never seen before and paradoxically it is me who hides or who is afraid of them.
I was surprised to come across so many creatures and these encounters made me realize that I was the stranger on their territory.
This feeling was quite pleasant for me and I realized that my garden doesn’t really belong to anyone.
I’m a new stranger, but I hope I don’t bother them too much and that one day I will join their gang.
