I have a lot of precious Japanese vintage glass pearls.
All the pearls used this time are beautiful pearls centered on glass balls hand-wound by craftsmen in Japan over 40 years ago.
Manual winding of this small size is a precision task that would not be undertaken in modern times.

The beauty of Japanese glass pearls has long been highly regarded around the world and has been favored by many jewelers.
“Cherry brand” is one of the brands of hand-rolled glass made with elaborate technology.
The cherry brand sent many glass beads overseas from the Taisho era to 1993.
And the glass pearls that were not used and were carefully stored became vintage over time and moved from the United States to Japan.
This time,The two types of glass pearls used from the cherry brand.
When I think that I was born a long time ago and have traveled for a long time, I realize that it is valuable and I will use it carefully.

貴重な日本のヴィンテージガラスパールをたくさん買い付けています。
今回使用したパールも全て、40年以上昔の日本で職人がひとつひとつ手巻きで作ったガラス玉を核にした美しいパールです。
この小さなサイズを手巻きするのは現代では引き受けてもらえないであろう精密な仕事です。

日本のガラスパールの美しさは古くから世界で高く評価をされていて、多くのジュエラーに愛用されてきました。
精巧な技術で作られる手巻きガラスのブランドのひとつに「cherry brand」があります。
cherry brandは大正時代から1993年まで多くのガラスビーズを海外へ送りだしました。
そして使用されず大切に保管されていたガラスパールは時を経てヴィンテージとなりアメリカから日本へ。
今回使用した２種類のガラスパールはcherry brandのものです。
ずっと昔に生まれて長い間旅をしてきたと思うと、貴重さを実感し、大切に使わせてもらおうと思います。

新しいコンセプトを纏い、monshiroの職人達が思いを込めて仕上げました。
パールひとつひとつの表情の違いもぜひ楽しんでいただきたいです。
